Blaszczyk finds himself the "elder statesman" of offensive line
Over a span of just six short months, Ryan Blaszczyk went from being the biggest question mark on the Rutgers offensive line to possibly its surest thing.
With the graduation of three multi-year starters in Jeremy Zuttah, Pedro Sosa, and Mike Fladell, plus the migration of Piscataway High School product Anthony Davis from right guard to left tackle, the 6-foot-4, 285-pound junior center from Medford Lakes woke up after the International Bowl only to find he had suddenly become an elder statesman of the Scarlet Knights' offense.
